(Madison, IL) -- It was a tough weekend of racing for Tim Tindle and the Tindle Racing Team at the 14th annual AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals at Gateway International Raceway.  This was the 3rd race of the 2010 NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Series.

Driving the Tindle Racing Ford GT500 Mustang, No. 13 qualifier Tindle was disqualified during the first round of eliminations after a malfunction with his electronics caused him to roll through the beams before the tree was activated, advancing opponent Mike Janis to the next round.  Janis’ run wasn’t perfect either, but he took the win light with a 9.135 101.07.

“Unfortunately, this was just one of those bugs that appeared at the wrong time,” Tindle said.  “With the given track conditions, I think we had a pretty good chance of winning the race. But, when it’s our time to prevail we will march to the winner’s circle.”

“The good news is that we were able to stay and test on Monday and get some things figured out.  Losing stinks, but I think we may have learned a coupe of things from it.”

Tindle drops to the No.10 position in the Get Screened America Pro Mod Series points.

Tindle Racing thanks Pundman Ford for providing the Team with a support vehicle during the O’Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals.
